New, exciting ways to partner with HLS to help others in need.

Baby Bottle Boomerang-A simple fundraiser that gives back so much and can involve all ages!

Here’s how it works: You pick up a specified amount (prepared ahead of time for you) of ornate baby bottles from HLS, then you promote and distribute at your church or small group. Folks then fill the bottles by dropping in cash, coins or checks. Finally, you collect at a later date and return to HLS. HLS tallies the bottles and keeps record of the giving.

Adopt-a-Room

HLS is undergoing an “Extreme Makeover” to make it more appealing and modern to clients, and also to pave the way for future changes on the first floor.

We have enlisted some talented young interior decorators to lend their creative talents to us. You can stop by 742 South George St., call us at 854-7615 or e-mail us at hls@hlscentral.org to inquire as to what specifically is needed.

Or you can send a check to: Human Life Services, 742 South George St., York, PA 17403 – In the memo portion of the check, designate it to our Adopt-a-Room project.

We want to specially recognize those that contributed towards each room with a plaque in each of the refurbished rooms. Each person’s name that contributed either as a volunteer laborer or financially will have their names placed on the plaques
