Human Life Services accepts monetary, in-kind and “Baby Store” donations to support its mission. 


Corporate Gifts

Whether your organization wants to make a corporate gift or your employees want to “adopt” HLS for a fundraiser, we would love to discuss it with you at 717-854-7615.


Church Mission Support

The monthly support of churches across our community is greatly appreciated. If your house of worship would like to know more about our ministry, have a speaker for a small group or add us to your missions we would love to talk to you about it at 717-854-7615.


Individual Gifts

Donations may be brought or mailed to our location at 742 South George Street, York PA 17401.


In-Kind Donations

If you or your organization have a product or service that you believe would benefit the Human Life Services mission, our moms in crisis or their new babies, please contact us. Examples may include printing services, new office supplies/furniture, new baby supplies, handmade baby blankets, etc.


“Baby Store” Donations

Did you know that each parent who completes our program earns “Baby Bucks” to purchase new baby clothes, furniture, diapers and other baby necessities? We also appreciate donations of new and VERY gently used items for our “Baby Store”.

Creative Fundraisers

We always appreciate the creative ideas that organizations have used to donate money and materials to us. If you have a creative idea, please share it with us.

We continue to offer a very successful fundraiser for groups to participate in:

Baby Bottle Boomerang

This simple fundraiser works well for all groups of all ages!

  1. You pick up a specified amount (prepared ahead of time for you) of ornate baby bottles from HLS.
  2. You promote and distribute at your church or small group.
  3. Folks then fill the bottles by dropping in cash, coins or checks.
  4. You collect the bottles at a later date and return to HLS.
  5. HLS tallies the bottles and keeps record of the giving.

 

"Facility Facelift" Projects

We want our nearly 100-year-old building to be a welcoming and beautiful place to all who visit. This spring we have the following projects that will need a lot of
helping hands to accomplish:

• Painting of our shutters and/or trim
• Repair and painting of the ramp and side porch
• Remodeling our sunroom for an additional counseling room/office space
• Landscaping of the front of our building (many thanks to a registered landscape architect, who volunteered his time and talent to develop a plan to beautify our grounds!)

If you have a small group, youth group, home schooler’s group, or just would love to help out, we can use help throughout the spring and summer seasons. A local nursery has gererously donated mulch to our landscaping project and will give Human Life Services a discount on any plants and supplies that we purchase from  them.  Contact us at at 717-854-7615 for more details on how you can help us purchase these much needed plants and flowers, as well as help with the other projects.
