Ruth Graham, founder and president of Ruth Graham Ministries, is the third child born to renowned evangelist Billy Graham. Ruth has nine grandchildren and three adult children, one of whom, Windsor Dienert-Bauders, will join Ruth at our fundraising banquet. The mother-daughter team, along with Sara Dormon, has co-authored two books: I'm Pregnant...Now What? and So You Want to Adopt...Now What? These publications were born out of the struggle both endured when Windsor found herself pregnant as a sixteen-year-old and later pregnant as a married woman with a potentially handicapped baby. Ruth and Windsor will share their story of beauty from ashes at our banquet at the Wingate Hotel on Friday, October 2nd. We hope you'll join us!
If you are a bibliophile with copious books you no longer need or read, we will take them! Human Life Services is partnering with "Passion for Print," a ministry that exists to help other ministries by collecting and selling new and gently used books. The proceeds from the book sales will directly benefit Human Life Services. Acceptable books include textbooks in gently used condition (with no missing pages), small quantities of previous library books stamped with "Discarded," and any other books except encyclopedia sets and those books damaged by water, fire, or smoke. Please call 854-7615, ext. 29 if you would like to schedule a time to drop off your books at Human Life Services or have someone pick the books up at your home.
Dates are subject to change. If you don’t receive our quarterly newsletter, please contact us for exact dates.
